Direct Marketing is also referred to Multi Level Marketing and Network Marketing.

This is a business model that I tried in the past, twice with complete failure.   More on that later…

Stop Harassing Your Friends and Family!

 I believe the direct marketing business model is outstanding, but it’s being taught incorrectly to others and this has been going on for years.  I just couldn’t stomach harassing my friends and family, even if the product was awesome.

No wonder Network Marketing has such a bad name!

How I got back into it is funny…

I actually signed up for the service as a customer first and then discovered a painless way to get leads and new leaders into my downline – this isn’t being taught by the MLM companies.

Here’s what happened to me and made me a true believer.  This is really cool…

Why This Is A Direct Marketing Model I Embraced and Discovered How To Be Successful Without Harassing Any of My Friends and Family

I live in Texas and the energy cost are high.  I suspect they are going up all over the United States…

In fact, I had done all the things I could to my house to better insulate it and weatherize it.  Basically, I spent several years trying to improve the energy consumption of this house because I didn’t want to move.  I love my house! 

My bills for electricity are CRAZY high!  I’ve had bills in the summer that almost exceed $1000.00

Below is a recent bill that I paid.

So a friend approached me (because I was whining about my bill so much.) and told me that I should do a comparison of rates.  So I went to the site that they recommended to plug in my information and do a comparison.

Here’s the site:  Customer Energy Comparison  You’ll see in the upper left area a link to “Rate and Plans” – put your information in.  (Don’t worry you don’t have to sign up for anything.)

When I first did it, I checked the rates and then looked at my bill to see what I would have saved or paid using their rates.  Basically, I would have saved around $50 for that month.  If my usage would have been the same for a 12 month period I would have saved $600.  I immediately made the switch.

Grow Your Business By Saving People Money

As a customer I was very happy!  :-)   My friend, that got me to change service providers, also suggested that I could become and Independent Consultant for this company

I thought to myself…. “I’ve been through this before and no thank you!”

But then I started doing some research in the Internet Marketing niche.  I’ve been making money online in a few other businesses and thought that this would be a great way to run this business.

Well what I found was amazing.  Other very successful folks had developed a process called Attraction Marketing, others call it Magnetic Sponsoring.  I thought this was a great way to approach this business model.

Why spend time on people that have no interest in this business, why bug them.  Instead I used a niche marketing technique,  which is to identify the folks that are only interested and present them with the details in a no pressure, and a non-pushy approach.

Use Automation To Create Leverage

Basically create a system that allows me to NOT waste my time by barking up the wrong tree.  An automated system that walks people through a sequenced process and provides high quality content about the business and let them contact me instead of me chasing them down.

I believe this is called leverage.

So that is exactly what I did, and as it turns out I am really good at doing this.  :-)

Special Sauce Added That Makes Joining This Business Opportunity Even Better!

Considering the fail rate of all distributers that sign up for a Network Marketing Business Opportunity is 97%.  This is horrible!  And surely this has created ill-will and lost hope.

Here’s the deal – Network Marketing is based on success of your upline and downline.  If 97% of them are failing, then wow this business model must be really bad or the methods that are being taught aren’t working.  I believe it’s the latter.  And I say this with first had experience.

I’ve taken a step farther…

Once I figured out the following key components in Network Marketing, I opened the door to the kingdom…

• Develop and Set-up an Attraction Marketing Sales Funnel;
• Drive traffic to that funnel;
• Tweak the Attraction Marketing Sales Funnel – Make small changes to improve conversions;
• My success is directly determined and related to the success that my recruits achieve;
• As a result, show and help build a fully operational Attraction Marketing Sales Funnel for my recruits;
• Provide expert training so they to can send traffic to their Attraction Marketing Sales Funnel
• … and so on!

So I follow the 6 bullet points above and coupled with a business opportunity (Service that everybody needs and uses) and while they use it they save money, makes for an unbeatable business.

I was hooked.  I thought to myself, “this business model will be so much easier simply because I save people money!  I don’t have to ask them to buy anything and that is huge. 

Let me give you an assessment of this business:

Here are the things that I looked at to determine if this is a business model I wanted to get involved with.

1. Saturation – Timing is key.  You’ve probably already heard this many times.  Basically, the Ambit business opportunity only has 2% of market share.  It is relatively a new kid on the block.  That is a good thing.  Getting in now is key to financial growth and success.
2. Product – Everybody needs it.  It is service that always get paid.  Sharing this with others so they can save money is a great experience.  And bottom-line, it is easier to sell the asking people to buy something.
3. Company – The company has been built by two major players.  Both have an incredible name in the business community, not just direct marketing.  This to me was key for joining the Ambit business opportunity.  They are debt free, which is outstanding, because that means more money in our pocket.
4. Support - This is great.  Ever time you turn around you get the support that you need.  And if you sign up under me you also get to learn my system of creating customer and consultants the easy way.  As far as I know, nobody is doing things my way – I created this system so you can replicate it.  This means you’ll have more success than others.  You win and I win, it is as simple as that.
5. Compensation – WOW!  What a great plan, and very easy to understand.  You have to learn more to fully understand it.
