Since 1997, I’ve been in the Call Center Outsourcing industry, so you would have thought that naturally I would use this experience and know-how to work smarter. Furthermore, I have extensive knowledge and experience in Offshore Outsourcing, specifically in the Philippines. The people are great there. In fact, they have a strong work ethic, are educated, very tech savvy and the cost structure is pretty good. 
So, in my infinite wisdom I never thought to use this outsourcing solution to create a more full-filling life. That was the case up until about a year or so ago. Making this decision changed everything.
As a matter of fact, by doing so, I was able to hold a Sr. Manager position for a major retailer. My position…I was in charge of the Outsourcing team for the contact centers. In addition, I was able to run two companies. Now I can’t clam that I worked a 4 Hour Work Week, on the contrary I worked extremely long hours. However, that was my choice. I could have easily relaxed and cut down on my hours.
My approach was simple….
With my position as Sr. Manager, I spent my time fully engaged in driving performance with our outsource partners. In the evening and on weekends, I spent time on the creative functions of my two businesses, such as developing an effective business model and utilizing new marketing ideas to promote my message. As a matter of fact, before I engaged the outsourcing resources for my businesses, I would often fore go implementing new ideas because I knew I wouldn’t have time.
Today is a different story.
Today I spend time on the creative side of the business, thinking of new ideas and allowing my outsourcing team to handle the implementation of all my ideas. Because of this, I get much more done, my income has grown exponentially and I have more time with my family. All really cool things!
Hopefully, the thought of all the benefits from outsourcing interest you. No matter if you want a virtual assistant to help you balance your daily needs or an entire team to help you grow your business, outsourcing is your ticket.
There are many resources available that support this goal. In fact, if you spend time doing some research you can find several outstanding sources. If your busy, and I suspect you are (thanks for taking tie out of your busy day to read this article), you need to really consider using outsourcing to the Philippines to improve your life. I did and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
