Kylee (my daughter) and I just got home from her soccer game and I wanted to put together a quick video for one of my new websites, www,virtualmediasuccess.com, the site is not complete but you get the general idea.
I set her up in the living room with a coloring book and put on her favorite show, (Spongebob Squarepants), Then I ran back into my office knowing that I only had a few minutes.
Well I tried to record the video once and didn't like it. I got ready to start it again, when she walked in. Kylee jumped up into my lap and I figured what the hey. I'll take another practice run.
While I was recording the video, completely serious and focused on the camera, she was busy…
Success: The Importance and Value
February 22, 2007
The importance of success cannot be overstated!
Whatever you definition of success is, you owe it to yourself to work as hard as you can to achieve it. If you decide that success is working 9 to 5 and spending as much time with your family as possible then that is something you need to work towards.
If success is amassing great wealth then that is what you should work towards.
If generating a large income and massive wealth but on your own terms - that is what you should work towards.
The point here is that the definition of success is diferent for everybody but what many peeple do not realize is that there are opportunity cost associated with each definition.
It all comes down to what you want.
To me success is defined by my explaination on BlueSky Brothers, LLC website. There I state what success means to me…
Here is what I believe success is: "Making Money Doing The Things I love While Being an Active Participant in My Children's Lives. I work from home, I determine my own hours and I get to decide what new business ideas I pursue."
See, success is only truly achieved if it meets all of your needs and you give back. Not too long ago I did not understand that.
And I think my family and I paid the price.
I've made a lot of money but as soon as I make it it is gone. That is not success.
I don't need a massive home, I don't need all the toys. For some this is a necessity and that's ok. But to me at this point in my life, having peace of mind, a comfortable life and the ability to give back is important.
Recently, I started giving back and it feels good and provides some purpose. Listen, I'm not saying you should forgo all the the toys if that is what you want but you should make sure you provide a means to give back.
…and in the end, you'll have greater wealth.
So, for me, moving forward, I'll make sure that I provide for the less fortunate because I am fortunate. I have a great family, I have a great home, I have great friends so I have a lot to be thankful for. This realism needs to be recognized.
That is why I want to be a better person and help. I'm not perfect and the lord knows that I am a "work in progress." But over time I will get better and be able to focus my energy on what is truly important to me.
So be successful and enjoy success. But remmeber the less fortunate.

Can you say too much work and not enough time?
Right now I am getting hammered with this high class problem. And trust me it is "High Class." The alternative is having too much time on my hands.
My day-time focus is working on my call center responsibilities, but when I have the time I build websites. The overall number of projects I have are somewhat overwhelming.
I found some really awesome tools that help and do a great job when building a quality website.
Here is the list…
Have you heard of web 2.0? Well the power of using tools that fall into the web 2.0 category really help with traffic generation.
That's why I've moved to only building sites with Wordpress. I my tool of choice is the SemioLogic Pro Package. The level of ease combined with the professional look is awesome.
I have so many websites up in several niche markets that I have a lot of experience with Hosting companies and my favorite is Blue Host. Their price is right but the tools available and the ease of use make them the top choice.
Here are a few example of the recent websites I have built with the SemioLogic Pro Package and Blue Host, (BTW - this site is hosted with Blue Host and this is just one of the templates from the SemioLogic Pro Package.

- RightToLead.com

- Blue Sky Brothers, LLC - New Media ePublishing
Check out the sites. The big advantage of using this system is the amount of traffic you can generate with the fantastic plugins.
Have a great day!
